We believe in, and practice, an approach that views open-mindedness and out-of-the-box thinking as a powerful tool to grow impact and purpose in all we do. Adopting this progressive mindset enables greater diversity of thought, team and action and ultimately makes our world and work comprehensively better.
In all of our work, with whomever we work with, we seek to embody the inclusive, restorative,
and empowering spirit represented by the image of the open tent and the deepest concept of inclusion and acceptance.
'Big Tent' is a term often used to describe a collaboration or movement where people of differing backgrounds, opinions, and interests, find common ground and progress together. Our 'Big Tent' is a space where everyone has a seat,
where past mistakes and successes don't define potential, and where growth and resilience are nurtured.

Founded in Deep Thinking
Big Tent was founded during a weekend of wellness and deep thinking on the southern coast of Sweden. A simple, but powerful philosophy, emerged and took shape.
In the midst of the vastness of the natural environment, the intrinsic openness, creativity and inclusivity of the environment around each of us, reminds each of us that the most effective way to progress any idea, project, work or cause - is to do so with openness, and a widened and inclusive perspective.
What does this mean in practice? Simply put, you don't need to go to Sweden to have that same experience (though we would recommend a visit!). Instead, we bring our creativity and Big Tent thinking to our work with you and every client and collaboration.
Who's in the tent?
Big Tent was created by Graeme Hodge, who leads as the principal consultant. But a Big Tent is nothing without friends and so a collective of vastly experienced specialist associates are all part of the expertise behind Big Tent.
Graeme has more than 25 years of experience across charity and business, creative innovation and ideation for teams, organisations and movements. He has a particular passion for initiatives that tackle social injustice and inequality all around the world.
Big Tent is built on collaboration
Anyone who has ever pitched a tent, knows it is easier when done together with others. That's what we are about. We exist to serve, lead, advise and support you and the purpose that drives you.
We only get involved with ideas and initiatives, organisations and projects that we care about and can add value to. That's the Big Tent difference.
